They Missed Me

When these were first announced, i posted the news of the you sketch it cards, and was hoping to call dibs on a few. So I thought i would try asking again, if you have any of these and don't want them, pretty please with cherries on top, can we make a trade.

Here is what i was thinking of starting, inspired by, My NY Mets Journal Blog, i would like do the Rays Proud and create a sketch card a day, chronicling the rest of the season. This hopefully will help me keep my artistic side sharp and get me a little more motivated again. I figure since this is my Cardboarding blog that i should make them small. I am still not sure what style or medium i want to use but here are some practice sketches to help me get a feel for some of the Rays players and get an idea of where i am going, with doing this.

If you happen to have more than one blank sketch card and would like me to do a sketch card of a specific player in return, i would gladly hook you up, i just would like some blank sketch cards, or i could send you some cards that you collect, which ever you prefer. Parallel Cardboarding

Never, i repeat NEVER thought i would be able to afford any Black parallel cards but I scored both for under ten dollars shipping include, the Combo was 8.50 total and the Longoria was 9.50 total, aaaaaaah, love that free shipping. I really like the photo for Longoria this year, I liked it in Opening Day, but with the up close crop topps did, i find myself enjoying it even more, well done Topps. Hopefully they go back to full body shot for Chrome to change it up a little bit or a new photo would be even better. My 111th Post and my 1st Contest!

Even better than a 1/1 is three 1's in a row. Yep, i completely missed my 1ooth post and since a few other fellow bloggers got to 100 recently, it made me realize the error of my ways. Now it might seem silly to celebrate 111 but really its way cooler, because it is the number one, three times, no odd circle shapes, making it a true milestone. But enough of my silly ramble, in all seriousness, I have really enjoyed my time blogging and want to thank everyone for making it a fun and pleasant experience. I am very grateful to all the friends I have made through this and hope to make many more. I have gotten up to 45 followers, which still amazes me, and have made 38 trades, definitely bringing back the true joy of the hobby for me. I hope you enjoy my TWIC and other rambles and i greatly appreciate all the people who stop by and keep coming back.
